Hi All...
I have a requirement where the user should be able to search by the chararacters he pass in the slicer. I.e.
when the user search my "Dav" or simply "D"the names starting with Dav or D should pop up. right now, all the names where there is Dav or D in any position are popping up.
IS this acheivable?

Hi @jostnachs ,
In Power BI, this doesn't seem achievable. Because the logic of this filtering is to contain. If you want to implement this feature, consider using the DAX expression LEFT(). But that means you may need to write a lot of measures.
FilteredNames =
FILTER(
'Table',
LEFT('Table'[Name],LEN("Dav"))="Dav"
)
Or if you would like to suggest feature improvements, you may vote the idea and comment here to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
