Slicers with custom period to date calculation

Hi all,

As per uploaded pbix file, I have a custom financial period, and the PTD calculations against it are working fine.

The issue is when I select the other filters I have in the dashboard (Product / Category / SubCategory) the PTD value remains the same. I need the PTD calculation to filter on all filters except for dates.

For example, selecting 25th October 2018, the PTD value is correct. Upon sleecting one of the other filters the PTD does not change and I need it to update accordingly without hardcoding the specific filters.

I would really appreciate your help in this one.

What is PTD?  When you select 25 October 2018, what time period shoul it be considering for the PTD measure?

The PTD calculation should calculate the dates  for 23- 25 Oct. It is currently working OK as per calculation in the attached pbix but not working well when other slicers are used.

You probably need to replace an ALL with an ALLEXCEPT, etc. That can be tricky through depending on what time intelligence functions you are using. See if my Time Intelligence the Hard Way provides a different way of accomplishing what you are going for.
