Slicers showing All instead of selected value

Recently (most probably since the last August update), most slicers show by default All,

as if all the values are selected, even if just one value or multiple are selected.

After I click to see the dropdown options, it changes to the selected value. 

Also, if I make a selection in another slicer or go to another page and get back, it reverts again to showing "All" and this behaviour happens in both desktop and online reports. Anyone else have the same issue? Any fix?

Hi @cris_sibi 

It’s not a modeling or DAX problem just a visual bug introduced in the latest build. For now the only workarounds are:

• Switch the slicer style to “List” instead of “Dropdown” (this shows the right selection).
• Or roll back to the July Desktop version until Microsoft releases a patch.

This has been reported to the Power BI team, so it should be fixed in an upcoming release
