Slicer to choose which row to group data in matrix?

Hello all,

Is it possible to create a slicer/ parameter so that users can choose whether to group data in a matrix by different row values?

For example, I have 2 reports, almost identical except that one matrix shows the row grouping by one value, and the second report shows the row grouping by a different value.

I'd like to create something whereby I have just 1 report with the option for users to select either of the 2 values to group the report data with.

Report 1: group rows by Range and Site

Report 2: group rows by Region and Site

As you can see, almost identical! Is it possible to minimise this into one report and if so, what's the best way to do this please?

Many thanks 🙂

Hi @AP23
If I understood you correctly and you want to let the user select which categories to put on the matrix you can achieve this goal with filled parameters.
