Hi
I created a slicer and matrix table as shown.
I need two matrix tables wherein when the slicer can filter one table based on the current month and the other othe one on the past year using invoice date?
The other question is if the user uses the slicer to filter 2 or more months will the matrix table captured the data for the year. Eg. In the 2nd screenshot Feb and March are selected so the year matrix table should show Feb last year's data.
Note the data are being taken from the same table.
Thanks...tksnota

Hi, @Anonymous
Based on your information, I create a sample table:
Then create two matrix and slicer visuals
Select a visualization to make it active. Display the Visual Interactions options. Add or remove filters and highlight icons from all other visualizations on the report page
In this way, the two slicers are independent of each other
Since there is no original data, in my example data, the multi-select month will show the data of the selected month, for example, if I select September and October, the matrix will show the data for these two months

Hi @Anonymous
You will likely need to use a disconnected table but the actual approach really depends. Please provide a workable sample data (not an image), your expected result from that and the reasoning behind.
Hi @Anonymous
please provide some raw data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples. It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following link to share the required info:

And It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.
