Slicer showing [List] instead of values from SharePoint List

Hi,

I have data in a SharePoint List. Some columns within SharePoint List are list themselves. I am trying to show the values within the "SolutionArea" column for example as values in the slicer control in PBI. However, it says, "List". How do I get the values to show there?

@asbajaj001  Try following this method from within Power Query: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/how-to-expand-a-list-of-records-in-a-query/

If that doesn't work, please let us know what the differences are or where it's getting stuck. 🙂
