Slicer in horizontal doesn't change back ground color on selection

The in built slicer in Horizontal mode doesnt changes its background color on selecting a filter value. This use to happen earlier. Only the font color changes to white font.

There is no option in formating pan to control selection color or background.

Hello,

Horizontal slicers do not work very well on the PBIRS (August 2018 Release). I think it is setup backwards. It looks like by default any selected color will be black, whilst non-selected colors will be whatever is setup as the background (see below). I have played with this quite a bit and haven't been able to make this work for me, because our company's reports all have black backgrounds with transparent (i.e. black buttons). As such, any button that is not selected will be black, which is why treating a selected value as black on the slicer is extremely confusing, so I will have to abandon horizontal slicers altogether. Unfortunately, this was the last puzzle piece to my reports and the horizontal slicer fit in perfectly at the bottom, so now I have to re-design. If there is a solution that I some how oversaw, then please let me know.

In addition, for title headers for tables, there is no way for me to make the title's background transparent.  When I select "No fill" or "Default", it doesn't change the background to no fill.

You can see why this is not ideal in the result below. I am on the August version of PBIRS and because I cannot make the header transparent, it covers the buttons when I hover over the table (even if I send the table all the way to the back, bringing the buttons ahead of it). When I scroll over the buttons they appear and work fine, but when I scroll over any other part of the table, the buttons get covered, which creates an ugly user experience.
