Hi everyone,
I am new to Power BI and have a relatively simple NPS dashboard I've created, connected to a spreadsheet that lives in Sharepoint and is updated regularly via a PI flow.
In my slicers I have options to view by regions and then specific site locations. There's a ton of Blank entries that have further non-blank entries nested within them. I'm trying to understand how to remove Blank entries without impacting the nested options within it. See here:
The blank entries contain data (NPS values) that need to be accounted for in the overall NPS score, so any solution needs to remove Blank options from the slicer *without* excluding those other values that impact the NPS.
Any insight on how to accomplish this would be enormously appreciated - I've done some digging into this but am impeded by my early familiarity with the platform.
Thanks!

You can restrict it just to the slicers. Not for the entire page.
And by that way, it will not be removing the data for the other visuals.
What I suggest in this situation is to keep 3 separate slicers for the country province and state.

Hi @Dhacd
I took your advice but ran into a problem. I used the below slicer in this example but sometime similar happens to a different slicer when I tried it there as well. This is the slicer I use to choose a region/province/state before any filters are applied:
Note that nested directly underneath "USA" is a (Blank)
When I applied the filter you demonstrated in your above post (and I applied it to the Province value, not even the Country value), it did the following:
It removed the USA selection from the slicer entirely AND left a Blank nested within a province, which is where I had applied the filter.
My other question is: the blanks still have important metrics data on each row, where just the location wasn't specificed. If I filter out a Blank entry, is the dashboard still collecting the other metrics from that row? That would skew the NPS numbers I'm trying to provide.

Hi @jnpb
Try using the filter pane just for that slicer and remove the blanks for it.
