Slicer background color not changing according to formula

Hi,

I want to make slicers less visible when they are not used (no value selected).  I'm trying to do it by modifying the title background color based on a formula that gives me the nomber of selected items.

The formula is very simple:  SexeCountSelected = DISTINCTCOUNT(Etudiant[Sexe])

And to make sure it works I put it in a card and I applied the same title background color formula to show that it is working.

BUT it's not working when I apply the exact same logic to the slicer title.

Is it a limitation?  Or am I doing something wrong?  Is there an other way to accomplish what I want to do?

Thank you

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Hi,

Just to follow-up, I've never been able to make it work as-is.  So I agree with @parry2k, I think it's a limitation.  I managed to reproduced the desire effect by putting a textbox under the slicer and grouping the 2 objects together with the selection pane.

The dark header and the red border are from the underlying textbox :

@molegris I think I tried it before and I think it is a limitation, I could be wrong but let me give it a try.
