Slicer Selection

Hello, 

 

I am building a dashboard and am having difficulty with slicer selection. I am trying to select something in my slicer and have it reflect as a value in a table, but when I select the value in my slicer, it is disappearing from the table and showing the next level values that correlate to the selected value. Has anybody encountered this issue and know how to resolve it?

      I've messed around and checked the cross filter direction to single with my datasets, and it hasn't been able to pick up my selection in the table. 😥

       

      Any other ideas by chance?
