Slicer Based Only On Dates In The Table, Not Consecutive Calendar Days
I have a table that stores values as of the first day of each calendar month. Power BI's slicer option allows for a slider that the user can drag together or seperate out to contract or expand the date range. However, the slicer is allowing for dates to be filtered that don't exist in the table. Is there a way for me to change the slicer so to only show the first day of each month is shown? By doing so, it will allow the slider below it to be more functional for my needs. As it is right now, just a slight nudge of the slider causes a huge change in the date range. I only need it to show 12 days per year, not 365. Since my table has many years, there are lots of days being shown that I don't care about because there will never be data assoicated with those dates.

Hi ChuckChuck,
After test, it seems that the Slicer Based Only On Dates is a design-behaviour. We can not set it, please create an idea here. For you requirements, you's better use list mode of slicer, then slicer will only shown the first day of each month.
