Hi,
I am getting the single sign on error as below:
"error":{"code":"Premium_ASWL_Error","pbi.error":{"code":"Premium_ASWL_Error","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"Premium_ASWL_Error_Details_Label","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Single sign-on (SSO) credential is not provided which is required to execute the current request. Note that performing a refresh over a dataset with a calculated table or a calculated column which references a Direct Query data source is not supported within the Power BI service."}}]}}}
Here is the situation: We have two main datasets (let's consider A and B). They are collecting data from two dataflows which are connected different sources. Many reports are working with A and B. Now we have a report called Price_analysis. This report has a dataset of it's own name which is connected to both the datasets of A and B using Direct query to AS (I guess it is a dataflow live connection, but I am still a newby in these):
Now in the Price_analysis dataset, everything is working fine. I mean the same pages in the report are there in the dataset showing the same visuals and everything is good. But in the report, some of the visuals (specially the ones working with the data related to dataset B ) are giving the error I mentioned. In the report the only thing I can choose in related to the datasource is that it connects to which dataset in the workspace. I connect it to the Price_analysis dataset but no help.
Update: I noticed that if I create a new Power BI report from scratch and connect it to the same dataset, It still gives the same error for data related to dataset B. I also can see the below error in the online report which I do not know if it is related(I have a Pro licesnse):
Please guide me on how I can fix this... I really appreciate it...
Hi @Anonymous ,
According to your error message.You have used Direct Query connection mode in Power BI to connect to a datasource with a calculated column or a calculated table, which is currently not supported within the Power BI service.
