Hi all,
So I'm fairly new to PowerBI and more or less self taught so please excuse my ignorance / skill level.
I'm trying to create a PowerBI desktop application to collect, visualise and analysis results from our organization process around the calibration and verification of our technology.
Brief Context
Our technology is a multi-sensor stero-photogrammetry system. Each sensor requires calibrating, before being verified first as an individual sensor and then as a network of sensors.
Brief Flow
I'm currently collecting data via MS forms and using PowerAutomate to push that data into multiple Excel tables. I then have my PowerBI desktop application looking at the tables and pulling the data in. The data is currently refreshed manually whilst I build the system. (In the future I'd like this to be automated so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated).
Step 1: Camera Calibration
Step 2: Stereo-Pair Baseline Calibration
Step 3: Single Sensor Verification
Step 4: Multi-Sensor System Verification
Main Problem
The first two calibrations processes and first verification process work perfectly. I can link the relationships via the sensor number and link / filter the data in different tables. Each process and row of data enter only refers to a single sensors (and associated sensor number). My problems come when I try and link / create a relationship between the first three steps and and the fourth step (Multi-sensor System Verification).
The data for this process is collected in the same way (Using MS Forms and Power Automate), however there are now 8 data enter fields for sensor numbers. Our system requires a minimum of 4 sensors and can handle 8 sensors in total. This produces a single row in a table with 8 columns of sensors numbers.
I'd ideally like the ability to select a sensor number from any table in a PowerBI page, and filter down all previous instances of the node number from the other previous steps. Removing all other data entry rows where that number does not appear.
Basic example of page
FYI: Node Number = Sensor Number
Selection of Sensor number on one of first three step table.
Current results: All data rows from the system verification table disappears (Currently no relationship assigned)
Desired result: All all rows which have selected sensor number remain, all others disappear.
Selection of sensor number in any one of the columns
Current result: Previous step data cant be displayed
Desired results: All data tables from previous steps are filters only showing results with sensor steps
What I'm hoping for from this forum.
Currently, I have no idea how I might even begin to make this work. If there is any suggestions or rough flows / steps to implement this theoretics process, it would be greatly appreciate! I'm more than happy to research how to do it, but I've hit a brick wall with this problem and need some experts to help!
Thanks!
Phil
Hi @Insphereltd
I am speculating that your issue is caused by the measure.
More details of the error code can be help.
Or could you please provide more raw data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples? It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following links to share the required info:

And It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.
