Single Select Slicer with Calculation Group Items
I have a report set up say a fact table and a calender.
My calculation group changes the cative relationship on the calendar to fact table. So can report on Date Started and Date Completed.
I want the use to be abel to switch between the two, which works by putting a slicer on the page. However to ensure they know which date they are reporing on I'd like the single select option on the slicer to ensure one is explcitly picked. (rathe than using the model active relationship, which may not be what they intended).
Seems for a calculation group the single select option disappears? Any Ideas? Thanks

I have a made a calculation group and made the change in the slicer for single selection and it worked properly.

If I add a slicer with the calculation group as the field - it shows no selection controls in formatting to change it to single select.
If I change the field to something else - the option on formatting of selection controls and single select appears?
I have had a play with it - it would seem that if I use another field, choose single select then swop the field for the calaculation group then it is indeed single select.
This may be something to do with - when teh calculation group in in teh filter wells of the visual or page - it has a yellow box flagging as single select. Though you can multiselect on boteh the filters and the slicer? Is ita property of caluation group to be single select? Thanks for your help.

In my tests I have used the calculation group directly without any settings or need to place other value in the sicer work pretty normal.
I cannot replicate the issue you are having,
