Hi,
I am just naively trying to calculate the capacity - schedule = available time by ressource in MS Project.
I managed to create a table with side by side the capacity and scheduled time by ressource by day, by joining several tables.
But when I enter a new column (Disponibilité is Availability in French) :
Disponibilité = sum('JeuDonnéesChronologiquesRessource'[Capacité]) - sum('JeuDonnéesChronologiquesAffectation'[AffectationTravail])
then the calculation adds ALL capacities and schedules, and does not break it down by date ? What am I doing wrong ? Thanks,
Welcome to Power BI. Power BI is a "system" of 3 interrelated concepts - tables, relationships and formulas. It is not possible to provide an answer to your question without visiblity of all 3 of these things. So if you can describe your tables, describe your relationships and any relevant formulas, then someone will be able to help. Better still, create a simple sample workbook that shows the problem and post that.
Ok, I understand, I have actually created a new measure, rather than a new colum, and this magically solved the issue. Thanks for your help, I'll try to be clearer nex time.
Hi
I know this is an old thread but I am trying to do the same thing. what was the measure you created to fix the issue?
Thanks for your help
