Hi All,
I've created a simple card visual to Distinct Count Purchase Order Numbers, along side a date slicer that is configured to show Years and Months.
When I click on single months in the slicer the values shown are; September - 940, October - 743, November - 711, December 599
These values are all correct.
However, when I hold Ctrl on my keyboard to select all 4 months I'm expecting the total to show as 2993 but it is showing as 2751. I can't understand why it is doing this. Any help would be appreciated.
HI AlmacReynolds,
I think because of distinctcount issue coming to you.
Your slicer is not filtering based on distinctcount
Hello @AlmacReynolds ,
so maybe there's repetative records between the 4 selected months, and with the distinct count measure you're using, its getting the distinct of them.
what you're doing is summing the 4 values when selected each month seperatly, but the truth would be check the distinct between these 4 months together.
