Hi,
I am trying to get all records from table Issues that are matching my filters even if I don’t have matching records in Components.
I have a table visual in my report and when I am adding the below fields to it, I don’t get the records from Items that don’t have the matching records in Components.
When I am removing the COMPONENT_NAME from my table visual than I get the other 2 records.
I tried to set the “Show Items with no data” option to the COMPONENT_NAME field and I didn’t get the 2 records that I was hoping (I got other records and I am not even sure why).
Any idea how to solve this?
Basically, I need to force all records from table Issues regardless if there are matching records in table Components (kind of a left join).
And one more question, not directly related, but maybe it is – can anyone explain why the total points take into account my missing points even if they are not shown in the table?
Help will be much appreciated,
Yaron
I am facing same issue. Since here no real unique ID, cannot create a 1-1 relationship. Due to many to many relationship between the 2 tables, the display does wnot show rows that occure in only one of either tables. Any solution will be greatly appreciated.
@yaronklein Perhaps try setting Show items with no data on your Issue or Issue Key field. Also perhaps create a measure like Measure = 1 and add that to your table.
Wow...where has "Show items with no data" been all my life ??? 🙂 Thanks
Thanks @Greg_Deckler.
'Show items with no data' seems to be applied to all fields.
About the measure, I don;t understand what you mean.
