Show last 12 months (no relative dates visual level filter)

Hi people, I have a little issue trying to display some data, I hope you can help me with this.

The thing is I have a line chart with sales by period (nov-2018, dec-2018, jan-2019 and so on) but now I want to display only the last 12 periods based in date selections.

For example, if I pick in my year filter "2018" and in my month filter "October", the line chart should display sales from nov-2017 to oct-2018, and with no selections it should display sep-2018 to aug-2019 (as of today).

That's why a relative dates visual filter isn't of much help, because if I change years, the graph will not follow the applied filters.

That would be it. I hope I was able to explain myself as clearly as posible.

But what's the logic behind having two Calendar tables in the data model?

You are welcome.  One to show within the Pivot Table and the other to use in a slicer.
