I am trying to head off a difficult issue.

What the customer wants to see

What Power BI shows if you create a measure called amount measure which is sum of Amount

What Power BI shows if you just use the column Amount from the original tablesum of Amount

sad but true. It is going to be great when the users realise the best solution is to add an index field, make the field very narrow.

Another bodge as Power BI wont do what it could.

Add an index column to make each row unique and prevent Power BI from aggregating them.
