Sharing dashboards
Hello all,
Quick question. New to data visualization and BI, no real dev skills whatsoever.
I've tried a few other BI tools and I'm trying to fully deploy a single BI tool for all of our business critical data over the next six months. I need an easier way for managers and executives to review the data I've been collecting and Power BI looks like a great solution.
Here's my question: do I really need to purchase a Pro license for every single person internally who may need to view the dashboards I create? There's me and maybe two others in the organization who will actually be creating dashboard. There will be somewhere around 30-40 who will need to view the dashboards. And that's internal. If we start using them for client reporting (which is a possibility), we're talking around 100-150 users who will need to view various dashboards.
Spending ever-increasing amounts of money per month so others can view the dashboards seems a bit backwards. I'd have a much easier time justifying a high price point per user to create the dashboards than a scaling price point for those who need to view the dashboards.
Is there something I'm missing here?
Thanks in advance.
