Sharing a Filtered Report Peer-to-Peer

The community of users I support have asked about the ability to filter a report using slicers, and share the "filtered view" with colleagues.  Moreless an ability to share information and say, "Look at This".

Best I can tell filters cannot persist when sharing a link peer-to-peer.  Anyone find an inventive way of doing this?  Perhaps I am missing a feature?
