Hello,
I am the owner of a Microsoft Teams group and the files uploaded to that group are stored on SharePoint. My goal is to create a weekly analytics report of the usage (how many new files uploaded, visitors, etc). But the problem is that i do not have admin rights on SharePoint. What is/are the best way/s to get this data and especially, how to automate this process for a weekly report?
Currently, the only way that i know of, to get useful reports is as shown below but i need a way to automatic this report to send in a mailing list every week. Is there a way to do this? Maybe even create automated screenshots (well, that would be the very last and amateurish option)?
Any advice is much appreciated!!
Hi @Anonymous ,
Have you tried using Microsoft 365 Usage Analytics in Power BI?
A quick and easy way to add a great deal of useful information about your Microsoft 365 usage in a highly intuitive and accessible dashboard which has a number of options to export and view in other formats, and also the ability to access the information directly from Microsoft Teams.
For more information and detailed steps, you can refer to:

Hope it helps,

"But the problem is that i do not have admin rights on SharePoint."
Is getting these admin rights not an option at all?
I have inquired but unfortunately, it is not possible to get admin rights in this case.
However, i am wondering if it possible to customize the basic analytics page (as shown in the screenshot from my first post)?
