Shared Report not able to access underlying dataset

I am very new to Power BI - and this may be a quick and simple thing that I am missing.

I created a test Azure SQL DB and added 1 table.  Added some test records and then pulled this table into a new Power BI dataset (using Power BI Desktop).  When connecting to the dataset, I added the credentials and was able to view the data in the table and the report looked good as well.

When I published this report and shared with a collegaue, he can pull it up in the Power BI web portal but it comes up with an error - to the effect of "You do not have access to the underlying dataset.  Ask the report owner to provide access".  How do I go about doing that?  I have checked the dataset permissions and it shows that I am sharing this with the colleague and he has Read and Reshare access.  When I click on Security, it shows that RLS (row level security) is not supported in the Web and I need to re-create this in the Power BI Desktop.  Other than these two options, I don't see anywhere I should grant explicit permission to the dataset.  In the Power BI Desktop, under Data Source Settings -> Edit Permissions, I can see that the Credentials are set to Database and can see the DB username and DB password that is used to access the Azure SQL Table.  The Privacy Level is set to Public (for testing).  I have tried setting this to None, Organizational, Private etc. to no avail.

Any help will be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

@arvindram,

I am unable to reproduce your issue. Please verify the following things.

1. Do you use the latest version of Power BI Desktop(2.54.4970.961) to create report?
2. Do you use share report feature to share the report to your colleague? If so, what is the result if you use share dashboard?
3. Does your colleague have Power BI pro license?

Lydia

Thanks! I shared it with 2 other colleagues and they were able to view without any issues. I will try sharing this again with the colleague that had the issue.
