SharePoint list showing duplicate data

Hi All,

I’m experiencing a problem where, after uploading data from Excel to a SharePoint list using Power Automate, the data appears duplicated.  Upon checking the run history all number of line uploaded is accurate, but when dig into the sharepoint is showing duplicate. How can I troubleshoot this?

Hi @ZulaikaJanuri,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Forum Community, and special thanks to @amitchandak for prompt and helpful responses.

Apart from the suggested step by @amitchandak Please check the fallowing Points,
you should also verify whether the flow is being triggered multiple times (for example, on both file creation and file modification), which can cause the same data to be inserted again. Review the flow structure to ensure the “Create item” action is not placed inside unnecessary loops and that retry settings are not re submitting records when SharePoint responds slowly. Also, confirm that your Excel source does not already contain duplicate rows and consider adding a validation step to check if a record already exists in SharePoint before creating a new item, using a unique key. This will help prevent duplicates even if the flow runs again.

Thanks & Regards,

Prasanna Kumar

@ZulaikaJanuri , Please check the refresh of the Power BI Dataset. Also, you need to check Power Automate logs for how much data is read and written
