I have a strange issue I hope someone can help with.
I have created a dataset which is published on the cloud which contans a connection to a SQL database then 5 SharePoint Online Lists.
All the data is showing in the tables so I know the connections are ok and there is no issues there.
I have then connected a new report to the published dataset on the cloud and I can see all the tables and columns inside the report.
But I am having issues using the column data with some of the visuals, for example if I have a text column titled 'City' in the SharePoint list, I can use it in a table see the data, a slicer and see the options. But I cannot get that column to show in the card visual.
Another example would be I have a column named 'Hex Colour Code', but if I try use that in conditional formatting the dialogue will not accept it.
All the above works if I try the examples in the report attatched to the dataset or if I create a blank report and just add the connections to the SharePoint Online lists.
Has anybody experienced this before and could possible offer any advise?
