Share your thoughts on the New Power Query experience in Power BI Desktop (Preview)
I have an issue with Power Query not recognising a date correctly and giving us lots of errors. I couldn't solve this with my regional settings or anything other than deleting the automatic "Change Type" step and then changing the type manually. My colleagues who didn't have previews turned on didn't experience this issue. I turned the New Power Query experience Preview off which sorted the issue and Power Query now recognises the dates correctly, so the issue must be with the Preview.
Would you mind sharing some steps to we can reproduce this behavior?

I had Power Query Preview turned on and went to connect to a CSV file which has a field each for order date, shipping date, and delivery date. Two of those date columns were automatically changed to date types. The delivery date gave me 47% of errors. I thought this might be because of the date format being in a different locale so I check that but it was in the same format as the other two (and changing the settings didn't affect it at all).
I then deleted the step that automatically changed the data type and converted the three fields into dates manually. That worked without errors.
With the Preview turned off I don't have this issue at all and all three fields get converted into dates automatically.- miguel2 months ago

Would you mind sharing a few values from those date columns just to recreate the csv file and try to repro the issue ?
