Share your thoughts on the New Power Query experience in Power BI Desktop (Preview)
edhans Would you mind sharing a bit more about what you're seeing in? Is this about the new UI that exists within Dataflows or are you seeing a new behavior within Power BI Desktop?
just to clarify, only the get data experience in Power BI Desktop is using the new Power Query UI today. The Power Query editor that you see in Power BI Desktok today (and the queries pane associated with it) has not changed and it still uses the legacy UI

Hi miguel - in Power BI Desktop, I just open Power Query (transform data) and all of the display folders on the left side of the screen are collapsed, so I am forced to manually open them up to see my actual queries.
When I close Power Query and reopen it, the display folders are all closed again.- miguel2 months ago

This is actually not related to the new UI, but rather a behavior of the legacy UI. You can also check this behavior in Power Query for Excel just to double check. You can definitely suggest that we modify such behavior in the new UI once we introduce the modern editor by suggesting the idea through the Fabric Ideas portal (https://aka.ms/FabricIdeas)

When I open Power Query in Excel, all of the display folders are open and I can see all of my queries.
