Hello Community! I need some help with the creation of a Shape Map on PowerBI Desktop. I want to include an Argentina map divided by departments inside each province in order to visualize the yields associated with different crops. Do you know where can i find that map to add to the Shape Map? And which format does it demand? I tried with JSON, geojson, TopoJSON and i couldnt do it.
Help will be very much apreciatted!
Hi @MirkoBotello - Power BI's Shape Map visual supports custom maps in the following formats
GitHub - johan/world.geo.json: Annotated geo-json geometry files for the world
geojson.io | powered by Mapbox
Make sure that the data in the JSON file has the appropriate geographical identifiers (like province and department names or codes) that you can map to your data. Sometimes the file might need some cleaning or modification to match Power BI's expectations.
