Setting Shifts for analysis of machine data.

Hello PBI Community, hope you all are doing good.

I'm working on analysis of Production Machine data.

I have slicer of date by which data is filtered.

I want to show shift wise production, but issue is that Shift B starts from Current date and ends at next date and I want to show it in current date and rest of the graphs should same data in next date .i.e. actual date.

For eg,

TimeProductionDateShifts
10:00Am08-Apr-22Shift A
03:00Pm150008-Apr-22Shift A
10:00Pm150018-Apr-22Shift B
06:00Am250009-Apr-22Shift BShould be shown on 8-Apr-2022 only for shiftwise production graph. All other graphs should show this data on 9-Apr-2022.

Can any one help me out in this scenario??

Looking forward for some positive responce.

Regards,

Ibad.

Hi @v-kkf-msft , how're you?

Actually there is no error, but issue is that newly added column contains blank value.

Hi @Ibad_Khan ,

Could you please share the data for those rows that return blank values? That would help us find the problem faster!

Best Regards,
Winniz

@Ibad_Khan , Assuming shift name is unique. You need a new column like this for that

Minx(filter(Table,[Shifts] =earlier([Shifts])),[Date])

Hello @v-kkf-msft , can you share your email?

I'm unable to attach excel  sheet here...

Hi @Ibad_Khan ,

Our policy does not allow direct email communication with clients. And if your file contains sensitive data, then it is not recommended that you share it out. Please try to replace these sensitive data with messy words to prevent information leakage.

Then you can use tools like SharePoint Online to share files that don't contain sensitive data. Or you can take a screenshot and then smear the sensitive data.

Best Regards,
Winniz

It's Returning First date of my dataset.

@amitchandak

Hi @Ibad_Khan ,

In my example data, the formula using @amitchandak was able to return the correct results. Could you please share a screenshot of your error results or a PBIX file that does not contain sensitive data?
