Set all filters on 1 page and change all report

Good moning Community,

I have a question that seems simple but I can not find a solution. I created a report and I would like to create a page with only filters that would change the whole report.

thank you in advance for your help.

Hello SonnyChilds,

Thank you for your answer. I do that and its working but but what I would like to do is create a page with segments (visualization) like dates, teams, ... but once I select on this page, the filters apply to the report.

@Milozebre,

What you describe can’t be achieved in Power BI Desktop. When you select values/data section in slicers or a visualization in a report page, only the visualizations in current report page will be filtered.

 To filter all the visuals in a report, use report filters as other’s post.

Lydia

Your best option is to use the "Report Level Filters" in the bottom right of the report. When you're viewing the report in the Power BI service, just click the black bar on the right to see all available filters. See screenshot:

On a side note, this is technically possible with the new bookmarks feature, given that you create a button for every possible permutation of every possible thing you're filtering on (e.g. toggling on "A" and "C" reveals a "Submit" button that is set to filter a subsequent page by "A" and "C"), but obviously this is not recommended for sanity reasons.
