Set Visual to Specific Date and Time

Hi there,

I've been trying to get a solution for this to no avail.

So I need to display visual from yesterday's date at 6:30 am to today's date at 6:30 am - So essentially 24-hour format but with specific time. Is it something that's possible to do in Power BI?

Thanks in advance!

Certainly. However :

- you will need to decide what "today's date"  and "6:30am"  means. Remember that the Power BI Service runs on UTC and your users may sit in many different timezones.

- this requires an import mode data source with (at least) daily refresh.

Hi @lbendlin

Thanks so much for your time to reply back. I don't quite understand what you mean by import mode data source. Could you enlighten me on that?

My Data Sources are coming from compilation of Excel and Text files, which I get with Get Folder directly into my Power BI.

Yes, those are examples of import mode data sources.  Data changes will not reflect in your report until you actively refresh the dataset (ad-hoc or via schedule).

In contrast, with a Direct Query data source   changes in the data will show as soon as the report user interacts with the visuals. No refresh required.
