Server Status

Can Power BI be used to monitor server status (online, offline, and time offline)?  If so, what would be the best tools or way to do this.   Thanks

guyinazo Power BI will not ping the server to check the status, you need to use other tools (I'm not a network/system expert) to determine the status and then feed the data to Power BI. I'm sure there are tons of tools that can do this for you but Power BI is not the right tool to determine the status, it is purely for visualization.
