Self service report in Power BI Service

I was asked to create a self service view or report where it can have column selector i.e client can pre-select columns they want and download it as csv or Excel with the records/data dump as well as if statistics or chart can be use to analyze that pre-selected columns as their dashboard.

How we can achieve in the Power BI

Above solution is good, But in my use case , User want to select the filters criteria in visual and need to export data in CSV with some particular column and data

You can do the same thing in any visual and after some filter selection user (Pro license) can download the data by right click and export data like below screenshot

you will get this type of data

What is the solutuin , if data size is big, i.e Number of rows are max

I have not yet started creating my reports, Taking the information for my knowledge . As I want to implement export data solution in my usecase

you can download the data there is no issue. I have loaded million of record through export functionlity I did not faced any issue with that.

Hi @dj8830 

for this type of reporting you can create 2 field parameter one for dimension and other for metrics
like below

Drag and drop only text/ dimension values like month, client name, product name, date, year, whatever level you want to see data.

Then add other filed parameter > darg and drop the numeric filed only like sales, cost, discount%, measures values etc

 see we have 2 slicer now take these values in metrix visual/ table visual.

You can modify the tables as per slicer selection. and download the report accordingly.
