Hello!
I have a report showing different information in the roughly said following columns:
Date - Title - Value - Notes - Confidentiality
The last column says whether an entry is confidential or not, by saying either true or false (formatted as text).
Now what I would want to do is to restrict access in the following way:
- Role 1: see everything (easy)
- Role 2: see all dates and titles, but don't see value and notes for confidential entries. But for non-confidential entries, still see them.
The last part gives me some trouble - if I use RLS, I can just say to show nothing concerning e.g. confidential entries, or I could even not show any notes. But this is not what I need....
An alternative would be to show the value and notes via a different visual (e.g. a simple card). But I have not found the option to hide certain visuals for some users.
Happy to receive your ideas!
