Hello all!
I created a very nice application for my organization using PBI. Everyone in the firm has PBI Desktop and I providing them with a Template file so they may utilize the full functionality inside of the application as well as on-demand refreshing the data.
The problem is that there is no way to lock-down and secure the queries from any of the users. In Excel, you can password protect almost anything you can think of--but in Power BI, it seems the only want to protect anything is to publish it to a web service or design your own interface and embed it.
Why is this feature not even talked about in the Forums? Am I missing the point of the application itself? Using PBI Desktop, IMHO, is much better than the clunky web version.
Thanks!
Hi @Breticious,
Here is a similar idea shard on Power BI Ideas forum. You can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI on this feature.
