Second layer of Cell Elements (Conditional Formatting)

That’s the new “Cell elements” feature in the matrix visual – it lets you apply multiple layers of conditional formatting (like background color, font color, icons, etc.) on the same field.

How to get it:

1. Make sure you’re using the latest version of Power BI Desktop.
2. In your matrix visual, select the field you want to format.
3. Go to the “Format” pane > “Cell elements.”
4. Here, you’ll see all those options (like background color, font color, data bars, etc.) and you can turn on more than one at the same time—just like in your screenshot.

If you don’t see “Cell elements,” update your Power BI or check if you need to enable it in the “Preview features” (File > Options > Preview features > “Cell elements in the matrix visual”).
