Second Slicer values dependent on First slicer selection

First post so go easy on me 🙂

Trying to get a second slicer to only supply values based on the selection in the first slicer. Having tried various examples Ive found online I wonder if its the underlying star schema thats preventing it from working.

the first slice would select release from Dim_Release . The second slider SHOULD only show objects related to that release but I cant get that to work. Any words of wisdom gratefully received !  I'm new to powerbi and very much finding my way
