Searching for a user when sharing report difficulties

When I come to share a published report with specific people in my business through Power BI Online, I find it very annoying (and difficult) to search for their user details in the share popup as it requires me to spell their name exactly as it is saved in their profile, typing in the order that the characters of their name appears. This is particularly difficult in my business as users often have a middle initial included in their name to differentiate themselves, and if I don't include the middle initial, I can't find their surname. It's really difficult to guess their middle initial!

For example, if I were to try and share a report with Walter E Disney, I can't just type in "Walter Disney", I won't be able to find him until I type "Walter E...". I'm unable to just type "Disney" into the share box to find him either.

Because first names are more common than surnames, it's really difficult to find people in my organisation unless I spell their name exactly right. The ability to search by any part of someone's name exists in Outlook and Teams, as well as the share feature in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and other O365 apps, can this be brought into Power BI Online as well?

Hi @Brownsteiger92
That seems that it works in the same way...

Hi @Ritaf1983

It seems like I can search by surname, however it still doesn't solve the problem of the middle initial. As an example, if I were searching for "Michael Bullen", I would have to type "Michael A Bullen" into the bar. Michael.PNG

Hope this is illustrative of the issue I'm having!
