Search document no based on url in Power BI Report and then pick on metrics to populate a column.

Hi All,

Business has the attached excel sheet. Week1 Migration Data_Test

The number of rows could be nearly a 1 million. Each row has Content Server URL ending with a Unique Folder ID. They want to extract that Folder ID and I am able to do that in Power Query.

There are 2 standard reports (queries with URLs) that run in Content Server based on this Unique Folder ID.

I have used WebURL before to help Report User to navigate from Power BI Report to Aconex website based on different Document Numbers.

Therefore, I was thinking in the lines of using WebURL for Content Server URL for each Folder ID (Column K) and 2 other WebURLs for Column M and Column N.

However, the challenge with the second 2 WebURLs is that it will take me to Content Server website showing the Size and No. of Objects metrics. But I want a way to automate the whole process and get these 2 metrics for each Folder ID and populate in Power BI Report or Power Query.

As long as I get the metrics, that should be good enough.

Can anyone please let me know how to achieve this? Any documentation or screenshots with the solution is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time in advance.

Regards, C

Hi @giftedbrain

Not sure about your needs, do you want to get data directly from the second two Web URLs to Power Query?
