Scheduled refresh for data source: SharePoint online list
Hello,
I have build a report on PowerBi desktop and shared it to a workspace/app online. The datasource for the report is an online SharePoint list. When I try to refresh the report I get the error message:
Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh.
However, the Data source credentials option is greyed out.
Since the datasource is online I did not expect having to use a data gateway, is this true? How can I refresh and schedule a refresh for the data source?

Anonymous , Open the workspace, Hover on the dataset, From tree dots, open settings. Open options there and check for errors. There should option to give credential
Or share the screenshot of error there

According to your error message, I suggest you try to install a gateway in order to store the credentials. Follow the steps below and try again.
