Hi, 

 

New to Power BI.

 

When a semantic model is updated by a scheduled refresh in the cloud is the underlying Power BI Desktop file also refreshed?

hello @bi_analyst_2024 ,

 

no, the desktop version will not be refreshed unless you refreshed it manually from power bi desktop or downloaded the refreshed version from power bi service and used it.
