Schedule Refresh Google Analytics

Hi,

I have a custom report which pulls data from our Google Analytics (not the content pack available, a custom report using the GA connector). I can pull the data in and manually refresh using the desktop application, no problem.

The problem comes when I am trying to schedule a refresh on the dataset. I get a warning message about my personal gateway being offline:

Your data gateway (Power BI – personal) is offline. To set refresh scheduling, make sure your gateway is online.

I have several on premise gateways configured, but I can't seem to find the correct setting to create a gateway for the GA connector? Is there a specific name I have to use?

Thanks in advance

Hi @robbiecutting,

Based on my test, if we use Google Analysis connector in desktop to get data and create a report, after publish it to the service and schedule refresh, it doesn't require any gateway.

From the error message, it seems there is other data sources used in the report which requires the personal gateway. Please verify you only connect to Google Analysis in your report.

Best Regards,
