Schedule Refresh - Custom Columns form Project Online (PWA)

I have created a query based on this blog post to get a custom list using the PWA connector. This allows me to:

1. Create a function to get the specified list "Project Updates:

2. Then i loaded all the projects via the API connector and applied the function above:

3. This then gives me a list of all the "Project Updates" for all the Projects

4. So now i have a dynamic list pulling all the data I need from the custom list against all the projects, however Power BI see's this as "hand authored" query and will not allow me to set a scheduled refresh on the service. 

I have tried to change how this query is generated but each gives me the same limitation. I have seen work around about using "Relative Path" but these do not work with SharePoint connectors, and there are multiple Projects (sites) i am trying to connect to.

This is a common issue i am seeing across different forums but not necessarily for the SharePoint/PWA connector.
