Saving filter options
Hi, I have a report on Power BI Service and I need to add functionality, that when someone selects certain options in filter, on report, or in the filters in sidebar it will stay saved even after a refresh of site or reload. So if he selects released and 348 in the sidebar filter, I need for those selections to be somehow saved for him.
duddys This is automatic in the Power BI Service. The Power BI Service automatically saves user selections and filters as a sort of automated bookmark.
Hi,
If i understand your question correct, you may want to keep 'Don't allow end user to save filters on this report' unchecked, under Report Setting in Service
Hi duddys , by default, when you reload a report in Power BI Service, the filters revert to the report's published state unless you use persistent filters or bookmarks. This behaviour ensures consistency, but it can be changed.
If this response was helpful in any way, I’d gladly accept a 👍much like the joy of seeing a DAX measure work first time without needing another FILTER.

Hi duddys
As what other users have already mentioned, enabling persistent filter in the report should be able to achieve this. Bear in mind though that persistent filters are not selective - it will save every slicer selections and the most recent bookmark a user has triggered. The are no other options to save the user selection for just a specific filter.
