FIlter Saving Issue

I have donwloaded a report and then changed the data connection before publishing to another workspace. Once published the report has trouble saving filters. I have added filters online and saved but as soon as I refresh the page they are removed. Is anyone else having this issue?

    Hi EvanKelly99 ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community.

The filters you're applying in the Power BI Service are not persisting after publishing your modified report to another workspace. This typically relates to the Persistent Filters setting.

    Please try the following steps:

    • Check Report Settings in Power BI Service: Go to the report > Settings > Report settings > Ensure "Persistent filters" is enabled.

    • If you changed the data source, confirm that field names/structures remain consistent, or saved filters may fail to apply.
    • Test in Incognito Mode to rule out browser caching issues.
    • Avoid Conflicts with Bookmarks, bookmarks can override persistent filters confirm they're not resetting your view.

I hope this will resolve your issue, if you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out.

If this post helps, then please give us Kudos and consider Accept it as a solution to help the other members find it more quickly.
