Save slicer selction

I have a slicer with four options and would like to save what option was selected for use in a visual that is not using this slicer.

 

Is this possible?

    Hi Anonymous ,

     

    I'm not sure I'm understanding this correctly. You could try hiding the slicer and using a bookmark.

    For example. We have two slicers (slicer_1, slicer_2) and two table visuals (table_1, table_2) in one page.

    Two slicers cannot filter each other.  Slicer_1 filter table_1 and slicer_2 filter table_2. You can set these in the Edit interaction.

    Suppose we want to filter out the first two quarter dates of table_2 -> select the first two dates in slicer_2 -> hide slicer_2 in Selection -> add a new Bookmark.

    When the Qtr.4 is selected in Slicer_1, the dates of the previous two quarters are still displayed in the Table_2 visual.

    You can change Slicer II's options to different values and save them in bookmarks for easy recall.
