Save Sum amount for each refresh
Hi,
Is there anyway to save historical aggregated value (e.g. Sum amount of user) in another calculated table or column? After refresh, the aggregated value will not be overwritten. A new column will be added with the current aggregated value (e.g. sum amount of user).
Thanks!
No, there is no persistent storage in Power BI. It is a reporting dB only. However depending what the issue is, you may be able to simulate this. For example, all data you load could have a batch iD that specifies which load it was. In the most simple format, this is just a date. You can then filter on date to get e previous totals. But the data is always reloaded from scratch.
