Sankey chart

Hi dear community,

I have a situation where I need to vizualize marketing spending and revenue data. The input table looks like this:

ChannelSpending % SpendingRevenue% Revenue
FB1000.21500.17
Gads500.11500.17
Offline1500.32000.22
TvAds2000.44000.44

So you can see thar share of spendings per channel for given period and respective revenue. My goal is to create a Sankey chart vizulization where I can link the share of spending to respective share of revenue.

I have chacked the custom viz. but ir seems it works only with one measure.

What could be the workaround here ? Any advice/best practice you can share?

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Saro

  • Hi Anonymous ,

You can try to use 'Tornado 2.1.0' custom chart to have an obvious contrast of spend and revenue:

  • Anonymous , I think you need to check for some other visual. Sankey is one measure of two dimensions.

      Thanks for reply and recommendation!

  • For visualizing marketing spending and revenue data in a Sankey diagram, I recommend the Sankey Diagram by VisioChart. I've tried many visuals, and this one is among the best, with great features and good support at an affordable price.

    Hi,

I was going through the questions regarding multi-level data visualizations and check this thread. Someone has answered the question. There are options in the store now to choose the chart from, a few are mentioned here and a few are missing, one of those is Sankey Diagram by ChartExpo easy data format and rich set of properties to customize the chart will help you make the chart as per your need.
