Hi,
I'm going crazy. I have a simple sameperiodlastyear function that reads as such:
NB_blitz_comp = Calculate([NB_blitz], SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Calendrier Maitre'[Date]))
Calendrier maitre is linked by date fields on the table where Blitz is calculated.
Whenever I use slicers that have that master calendar date field, wonderful results, I see my last years numbers.
When I use any other fields of the master calender as a slicer (fiscal year for exemple), NB_blitz_comp comes out empty.
I've done this in other documents and choosing the fiscal year works to perfection, and this isn't a really more complicated model. I really don't know what I should be looking for.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Thank you for trying to help.
I'm afraid I won't be able to get any data out of my company's secured area, even if I dropped all fields that contain descriptive data. Sorry.
But the good news is that I solved my problem on my own. I changed the relationship between the master calendar and the table to an actual date field. I was using a date ID field that was not formatted as a date.
Hi,
Share the download link of the PBI file and show the problem clearly.

Try selecting the year (année comptable) or the "Année à date" slicers that are part of the master calender.
Normaly this works impeccably with other documents where I have the same master calendar and the same "sameperiodlastyear" function.
Année à date for exmeple chooses the dates that are included from the begining of the fiscal year to today.
I could also add a Quarter slicer, and it's still not working as it does in other documents.
That takes me to a sign-in page.
