Same Period last year not working when I select up to today in date slicer

Hi,

Same Period working fine but it when i selected up to today date in date slicer it is taking one year extra for calculation

Today is April 12 2022

If I select Upto today it is taking upto 3/30/2023

can someone help me with this?

@ravi_ch , Hope you are using date table.

Date in slicer and visual is from date table

Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Date'[Date]))

 

Today's date will show a year behind data

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
